My name is Jan-Michael Harvey. Approximately 1 year ago, I purchased a Bionic Minnow starter kit for $19.95. My mother thought I was wasting my money (I am 14) and she bet me that I would never catch anything on the Bionic minnow. I semi-agreed with her because of my success (or rather thereof) with fishing soft plastics, or for that matter lures at all. I have been fishing for about 10 years, and until recently, have never had any luck at all with lures, and have been restricted to live bait, which I have become a master of. I went home with my new lure kit, watched the video, and put some of the lures together as the directions showed. The next day I biked down to the nearest pond and started casting with one of the top water heads & weedless treble hooks. I cast over to a submerged branch and immediately got 3 hits on the first cast, but no hook ups. I repeated this about half a dozen more times with the same results, a couple of hits, but no hook ups. I studied my lure and found many cuts and gashes in the lower body of the lure. So I decided to switch to the diving head. I cast twice...and came back with no tail whatsoever on my lure. By this time, I was getting really mad and very frustrated. So I decided to just stick an 8/0 hook through one of the 5" bodies. I cast to the same spot I had been and was immediately rewarded with a 15 minute battle against a 27 inch chain pickerel on 12 pound mono. I was amazed. It was the second fish I had ever caught on a lure and by far the largest pickerel I had ever caught, to surprise me even more was the fact that I had caught it during a warm spell in may! I fished for an additional hour and a half with a total of 9 pickerel and 5 bass in 2 hours. Your Bionic Minnow is the best lure or bait I have ever used. I now have one with me where ever I take my rod. Thank you for selling me the best lure I have ever tried and probably ever will.

P.S. Is there any way to only buy the 3" minnows & 5" inch minnows in gold & silver without buying an entire new kit
